I sat next to a guy at the match who, to put it mildly, was not happy with the Wigan goal. He kept up a stream of abuse at the ref for the rest of the match. I thought perhaps I should mention to him that it was Malky Mackie who had passed to Camara but I didn’t. Does that make me a realist or a wimp?
I had a bloke next to me like that (maybe the same chap) he had his 8-10 year old son next to him as well. I wasn’t impressed with his swearing in front of his son really, but what do I know?
Okay - so not offside - but if it had been down the other end lets face it Mr Styles would have acknowledged the lino … given a free-kick and Wigan would have broken up the other end whilst we were still celebrating.
Its a sign of our “luck” that we dont get this decision going our way. But we need to keep making our own luck more - “additional striker” - anyone?
